A.K.T. moves in the tradition of modern jazz – interpreting on the one hand standards of the American from Parker to Coltrane and unfolding their own compositions that reveal a European perspective on jazz.

The broad spectrum ranges from influences from world music and classical music to all varieties of jazz and merges into a unique sound.

Inspired among other things by the I-Ging – the book of changes, multi-layered moments arise from contemplation to ecstasy, sometimes lonely temple, sometimes rousing flow, whose sounds and rhythms develop in rich facets.
